Download latest Zoom-Office 2.8.1 release. Release 2.8.1 has a full support for Windows Vista. Please note that it is still in beta stage, and full release is coming soon.

Although Zoom-Ex, Zoom-Twix and Zoom-Office are now compatible with Windows Vista, we strongly recommend to use Windows XP. Following are the major reasons:

• Overhead. Windows Vista has a lot of unnecessary overhead that makes system boot time, shutdown time at least doubled comparing to Windows XP.Inefficiency in system resources utilization, such as CPU time, memory, and I/O operations make Vista computer much slower and less responsive. Extra security features that require user intervention do create trouble for low vision and blind computer user. In most cases those security features would not protect you anyway.
• Incompatibility with other third party programs and devices.
